Tutoring is important because unlike at school your child receives 1 on 1 attention and teaching is tailored directly to their needs.

Misconceptions and difficulties are more easily targeted and corrected.

Tutoring also provides the opportunity to extend your child beyond the ‘normal’ parameters that teachers have to work in within the classroom.

This can be discussed on an individual basis. If you would like your child to receive extra homework during their tutoring to maximise their learning, we can definitely provide homework. However, if your child is already struggling to meet deadlines and homework from school we don’t want to stress your child further.

We aim to work around your schedule. While we ideally book lessons after school during the week (4pm-8pm) and on Saturdays (10am-5pm), we can work with you to find another suitable time if required.

We generally offer weekly sessions but more can be scheduled if required.

We have a mix of experienced teachers and high achieving university students. Our university students have achieved at least a band 6 in the subject they tutor while our teachers have many years experience teaching in the classroom.

In the rare instance that your child doesn’t like their tutor we can discuss what happened and find the right fit for your child. We just want the best for the kids.

It’s fine to cancel a session, we don’t want to lock anyone in! However, we do ask that this is done with 24hrs notice in order to receive a refund or reschedule. If it is done with less than 24hrs notice, then the normal session fee applies. This is done to ensure we can maximise our tutors availability for children.
